@mroutley Wolfe is one of my top faves for oddly literary scifi, up there with Jemisin and the like. Severian the Villain Protagonist is one of my favorite characters, as well. Enjoy, and do try Book of the Long Song, which is an oblique sequel series, with Silk, another brilliant character as unlike Severian as possible!
